YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Ambassador to Belgium Tatul Margaryan on September 13 held a meeting with the General Director of the Belgian Federal Public Service (FPS) Foreign Affairs, External Trade and Development Cooperationon Multilateral Affairs and Globalization Jean-Arthur Régibeau, press service of the Armenian MFA informed “Armenpress”.
A number of issues related to the expansion of the Armenian-Belgian cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
The sides discussed the opening of Brussels-Yerevan-Brussels direct flight. Jean-Arthur Régibeau handed over the application of the Belgian civil aviation authorities to Tatul Margaryan through which the Brussels Airlines will carry out Brussels-Yerevan flight.
Jean-Arthur Régibeau expressed gratitude to the Armenian Ambassador over the initiative of opening Brussels-Yerevan flight, for the intensive work with various circles of the Belgian Government and the Brussels Airlines company.
They agreed to start the direct flight this year and to increase the frequency of flights starting from next year.
