YEREVAN, AUGUST 22, ARMENPRESS. For 5 years in a row Honey&Berry Festivaltakes place in Berd city of Tavush Province in Armenia. The festival that lasts 3 days has conveyed festive mood to the city. The Armenian State Jazz Orchestra, led by Armen Hyusnuntsi, gave a concert on August 20 in Berd’s Soran garden.
“Armenpress” reports the initiator of the festival, chairman of the “Tavush spiritual renaissance” fund Hayk Chobanyan noted that the festival has largely fostered tourists inflow to Berd’s region. “5 years ago when we expected guests and had to book hotels and restaurants, there were very few of them. But today we have no such problem. There is a competition in the mentioned sphere of service. At least 3-4 hotels, restaurants offering local cuisine and cafes have been established”, Hayk Chobanyan said, recalling that 5 years ago that part of the city had become a desolate place, while today there is a playground there serving for sporting events.
