YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, ARMENPRESS. The opening ceremony of the 5th International Pantomime Festival after Leonid Yengibaryan took place in Tsakhkadzor’s Tsakhkunyats Square. Performances will also take place in Dilijan.
“I welcome all participants and guests. Under the patronage of Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the Ministry of Culture and Tsakhkadzor City Hall this festival will become annual”, Zhirayr Dadasyan, Artistic Director of the Pantomime State Theater and founder of the festival said.
Dadasyan said from September a Pantomime studio will start operating in Stepanakert.
Pantomime masters from Armenia, Russia, South Africa, Iran, Ukraine, Georgia performed during the opening ceremony.
