“Welcome to “the Red Devils” – Manchester United fans welcome Mkhitaryan

YEREVAN, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS. Manchester United fans from all over the world warmly welcomed the Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, reports “Armenpress”.

Fans’ comments posted in the social networks show that Mkhitaryan’s transfer to Manchester United was expected and welcomed.

English prominent Manchester United club officially announced about signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan on July 7. Mkhitaryan was photographed with his new t-shirt, and met Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho. Mkhitaryan gave his first interview to the official website of the English club. “I will do everything to show my best qualities” he said. He said Jose Mourinho was one of reasons why he chose Manchester. “But also the team is important because it’s one of the biggest clubs in the world. I couldn’t reject this offer and I’m very happy to be here”, he said. He said this year the team is going to be amazing and it will be a pleasure for him to play with these guys.
