Armenian President thanks Milos Zeman for NKR position

YEREVAN, JUNE 8, ARMENPRESS. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan says Armenia appreciates the Czech Republic’s stance and support to the efforts of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs over the settlement issue of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

“For that I have expressed gratitude to President Zeman and the Czech Government. We both stressed the importance of the implementation of Vienna agreements, including the maintenance of the 1994-1995 ceasefire agreements, the installation of monitoring and investigation mechanisms of incidents, the increase of the capabilities of the team of Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office as an important steps towards the establishment of long-term stability in the conflict zone”, “Armenpress” reports, the Armenian President said.

“Of course, I informed Mr. Zeman about the possible meeting with the Azerbaijani President under the mediation of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs. And I am grateful to him for his proposal to use the opportunities of the Czech Republic for these meetings”, Serzh Sargsyan stated.
