Armenian General says Armed Forces are ready to rebuke any hostile attempt

YEREVAN, MAY 14, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Armed Forces are ready to rebuke and hostile attempt and give an adequate counterblow also on Armenian-Azerbaijani border,“Armenpress” reports Commander of the 4th Army Corps Major-General Andranik Makaryan told the reporters in Vayk.

“We must always be ready to any action by the adversary. We have such a neighbor that can at any moment escalate the situation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border and change the situation. We can have the same situation as was during the recent days on Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line. Considering that, we must always be and we are always ready”, the General said. He also added that Turks can never be trusted, quoting Ter Avetis as saying “Do not trust the Turks now, forever and ever”.
