“Norway Chess”: Aronian to face Carlsen

YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian has defeated Ukrainian Pavel Elyanov at the “Norway Chess” tournament in Stavanger, Norway.

World champion Magnus Carlsen is leading the tournament. Previously he defeated former world champion Vladimir Kramnik in the 7th round.

Aronian will face Carlsen in the 8th round.
