Prime Minister: Acquirement of Russian armament in process

YEREVAN, APRIL 24, ARMENPRESS. The signing of the agreement on acquiring armaments from Russia is in process. This was stated by PM Hovik Abrahamyan during a briefing.
Asked about the process, the PM said “It is proceeding normally, we will not have any issues. We do not have any financial issues for arming our army. Let this be clear for everyone.”
As “Armenpress” reports, the PM said that the necessary amount for the acquirement of the weaponry has been provided.
During the meeting on April 7 with Dmitry Medvedev in Yerevan, Hovik Abrahamyan proposed Medvedev to instruct “Rosoboronexport” to accelerate the signing of agreement on supplying weaponry to Armenia.
