Artsrun Hovhannisyan highly assess effectiveness of Armenian artillery, air defense and REC

YEREVAN, APRIL 20, ARMENPRESS. Press secretary of the Armenian Defense Ministry Artsrun Hovhannisyan made a note on his Facebook page referring to the effectiveness of Armenian artillery, air defense and Radio Electronic Combat (REC) during the days of Azerbaijani aggression in April.

“Armenpress” reports Hovhannisyan mentioned, “A small remark referring to the rumors of “We have no weapons”. The intensity of military actions was unprecedented for a local war. In terms of artillery, we have already mentioned that Armenian artillerists worked miracles. In the language of classical Soviet military education, regimental and division artillery units operated from the Armenian side, which triumphed over an artillery unit on an army level with fire thrice less than the adversary’s.

But very little is mentioned about the Armenian air defense and REC units. They also recorded extremely high results. I made some comparisons these days, and the 14 UAVs, some of which combat ones, destroyed or neutralized by us is also unprecedented.
