YEREVAN, APRIL 19, ARMENPRESS. The travel.ru tourism service made a research of most popular CIS resorts. As “Armenpress” reports, the research was done based on hotel bookings of 2016 summer.
The top 5 CIS resorts are: Issyk-Kul Lake (Kyrgyzstan), Borovoye resort (Kazakhstan), Lake Narach (Belarus), Caspian Sea (Azerbaijan) and Lake Sevan (Armenia).
The tourism agency noted that Lake Sevan is located an hour away from the capital Yerevan. Tourists enjoy motor boating, the beautiful mountain scenery and the crayfish kebab. The historic Sevanavank is also located here.
