Candidates Tournament: Levon Aronian to play against Fabiano Caruana in 12th round

YEREVAN, MARCH 25, ARMENPRESS. Leader of the Armenian National Team Levon Aronian will compete against Fabiano Caruana in the 12th round of the Candidates Tournament. As "Armenpress" reports, after 11 rounds Fabiano Caruana and Vishwanatan Anand lead the ranking with 6.5 points. Russian player Sergey Karyakin is 3rd with 6 points.

Levon Aronian, Peter Svidler and Anish Giri share the 4-6 places with 5.5 points. Hikaru Nakamura is 7th with 4.5 points. Veselin Topalov concludes the ranking.

Peter Svidler-Anish Giri, Hikaru Nakamura-Vishwanatan Anand, and Sergey Karyakin-Veselin Topalov will also compete in the 12th round.
