"Spartak" and “Real Salt Lake” agree Yura Movsisyan’s transfer

YEREVAN, JANUARY 16, ARMENPRESS. "Spartak" and Armenian National Squad forward, Yura Movsisyan, will continue his career in Real Salt Lake, the officialwebsiteof the Moscow club informs.

As “Armenpress” reports, the clubs have reached an agreement on the transfer of the 28-year-old footballer to the American club on loan with the possibility to purchase the player. The agreement is valid till 1 December 2016.

Yura Movsisyan played for Real Salt Lake from 2007 to 2009, after which he defended the colors of the Dutch Randers and Russian Krasnodar. The Armenian forward, who played in "Spartak" since 2013, authored three goals and two assists during the 11th match of the current Russian Championship.

Yura Movsisyan is Armenian forward who was born on 2 August 1987. His family moved to the U.S., where in 2005 he began his playing career at Pasadena Lancers youth academy. In 2006 he moved to Kansas City Wizards. There Yura made 28 appearances and scored 5 goals. A year later Movsisyan signed a contract with Real Salt Lake. There he spent two seasons, scoring 15 goals in 53 matches. In 2008 the club became the champion of Major League Soccer. Since 2010 Movsisyan defended the colors of Danish Randers FC. In 2011 the striker joined Krasnodar.

In 2011 users of FC Krasnodar official site named Movsisyan FC Krasnodar Player of the Season. At the end of 2012 Yura moved to the Russian capital and joined Spartak.

In 2010 Yura debuted for Armenia in the match against Iran. He netted his first goal for the national team in September 2010 against Macedonia.
