Concert dedicated to Hovhannes Badalyan’s 90th anniversary to be held in Yerevan

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 1, ARMENPRESS. A jubilee concert dedicated to People's Artistof the Republicof ArmeniaHovhannes Badalyan’s 90th anniversarywill be held at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall on December 4. As “Armenpress” was informed by Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia, Badalyan’s pupils, theOrchestra of National InstrumentsofArmenia led by artistic director and leading conductor, Honorary Artist of the Republic of Armenia Norayr Davtyan will participate in the concert.

A film presenting Badalyan’s life and activities will be presented and some songs performed by him will be played during the event.

The concert is organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia and at the initiative of the National Center of Folk Music.
