Armenia and Lebanon sign 2016 Military Cooperation Plan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Head of the Department of Defense Policy of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia, Levon Ayvazyan, is in Lebanon within the framework of Armenian-Lebanese military cooperation.

As “Armenpress” reports, Ayvazyan held talks with several Lebanese senior officials and high-ranking officers.

The parties discussed the avenues for the development and deepening of collaboration between the armed forces of Armenia and Lebanon, the present-day situation in the region, and some other matters of bilateral interest.

And as a result of the talks, the 2016 Military Cooperation Plan was signed between the armed forces of the two countries.

During the trip, the Armenian MOD delegation also visited the special and several other subdivisions of the Lebanese Air Force.
