“The new book” 2/42: Naguib Mahfouz: “Radobis”

Naguib Mahfouz‘s "Radobis" is based on the novel of ancient Egypt's 6th dynasty pharaoh MerenraII Nemtiemsaf’s character. Pharaoh’s short period of reign is connected with his illness or with the state revolution against him. Mahfouz’s novel reveals the real reasons.
