Karen Andreasyan responded to criticisms to his address from National Assembly

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Human Rights defender Karen Andreasyan responded from National Assembly to criticisms addressed to him by a group of MPs. During the discussion of Ombudsman’s 2014 report Karen Andreasyan referred to the monitoring of MPs who said that he is young and inexperienced, hence he is weak. “I tell to everyone now, who used the word young: Youth is the smallest drawback of those who are present here, as, being young, one can be so much mature that can think about the rights of humans and not about offending one personally”, Andreasyan mentioned, as “Armenpress” reports.

Referring to the general questions whether the report is written good or not, Andreasyan did not reject that there were misprints in it that should also be fixed.

As to the MP’s monitoring that there is less sharpening in the report and it must be criticized more aggressively and it must be said more toughly, Karen Andreasyan reported: “Reacting to this, I can say that it is an issue of political taste and imagination and just to protect me from attacks from the opposite wing, and I'm not going to deviate from the line and the principles that I adopted”.

Ombudsman mentioned that he does not have any team; there are not persons who will support him and who will show him his place.

Andreasyan also referred to the strict criticism from the side of RPA faction MP Samvel Farmanyan.
