Films are not only mine: Aspet Shermazanyan’s “Debut”

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 22, ARMENPRESS. Young director Aspet Shermazanyan considers the movie as a phenomenon. The director, who is a short films lover, claims that even few conditions are enough to make a movie: One just needs to realize what is needed to use.

My origins are from Lori, but I was born in Yerevan in 1993. Before selecting the directing, I went for both sports and painting. But the movie was a phenomenon for me since my childhood. I liked it very much and maybe it was because of the influence of my family: I constantly associated with filmmakers. Besides, I like to tell stories very much: It is connected with directing to some extent.

… It is very significant for me that the film has an intrigue, “suspence”, as Hitchcock said, in order to keep the audience tensed and on needles. My short films are of various genres. I created my first film in 2012 which is called”8: Do not steal”. The 8th commandment in the Bible is in the basis of the film.
