Armenia PM: Armenia to support launching EAEU- Iran dialogue

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan expressed readiness to first Vice President of IRI Eshaq Jahangiri on behalf of Armenian Government to support deepening cooperation and launching EAEU- Iran dialogue, particularly in the context of signing EAEU-Iran free trade agreement.

“Armenpress” reports that PM Hovik Abrahamyan told journalists about this after his private conversation with the first Vice President of IRI. According to the PM, the meeting was held in a friendly and cordial atmosphere. High ranking officials of the neighboring country reconfirmed their readiness to extend and speed up Armenian-Iranian cooperation. A wide range of issues concerning future projects were discussed.

The sides highlighted the key importance of "North-South Road Corridor Investment Program" and Armenia-Iran railroad for improving regional partnership and economic growth.
