Winners of first Yerevan Half Marathon divide 6 million dram prize fund

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Winners of the first YerevanHalf Marathon are already known. “Armenpress” reports that representatives of Romania, Russia and Iran are among the winners.

Female winner of the 5km run is Lilit Surajyan representing Vanadzor, and the male winner is Yervand Mkrtchyan (Gyumri). Lilit Harutyunyan, Anna Karhanyan, Mushegh Shahverdyan and Vahe Ivanyan were the best in 10.5 km transfer run. Sergey Lukin (Russia), Christian Stoyan (Romania), and Arabo Hazaryan (Iran, Tehran) were the first male participants to cross the finish line of the longest, 21 km distance of the marathon. Irina Sergeyevna (Russia), Katya Karmanenko (Ukraine), and Andrea Prishku (Romania) were the female winners of the 21 km long run.

The prize fund of the first Yerevan half marathon is 6 million drams. World and Europe football Champion Youri Djorkaeff had a symbolic participation in the half marathon.
