President Serzh Sargsyan toured in Moscow State University's Yerevan branch

YEREVEN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Yerevan branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) opened its doors in front of 65 students. On September 18 the President of Armenia visited the University, toured in the newly-opened educational complex, and got acquainted with the conditions of the building, class-rooms and the library. “Armenpress” reports that an event was held at the University Conference Hall. President Serzh Sargsyan, Minister of Education and Science, Armen Ashotyan, President of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, Radik Martirosyan and other officials attended the event. RectorofMoscow State University, Victor Sadovnichy and director of the Yerevan branch were also present there.
In an interview with journalists the Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan hoped that the establishment of the Yerevan branch of the Moscow University will guarantee competitiveness which will ensure increase in education quality.
According to the rectorofMoscow State University, Victor Sadovnichy, universities are the future of any country, as the youth with great ambitions obtain education there. He mentioned that he is satisfied with the building, equipment and teaching quality. “This branch made a good impression on us, there are good conditions to get high quality education, and the library is very nice as well. It is one of the most contemporary”, emphasized Victor Sadovnichy.
