Implementation process of provincial projects discussed at Government

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. A consultation chaired by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Hovik Abrahamyan, was held on September 17. Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations, Armen Yeritsyan, Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan, the governors and other officials attended the consultation.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government, the first issue on the agenda was the implementation process of the urgent capital projects in the provinces. It was reported that all the 159 infrastructural projects are successfully being implemented, without any obstacles. PM Abrahamyan highlighted the quality and timely implementation of the projects.

Afterwards, issues over the process of grape purveyance were discussed. Minister of Agriculture, Sergo Karapetyan mentioned that this year grape harvest in the Republic was quite high. Daily activities are undertaken to purvey the harvest. It was informed that 17 out of 50 purveying companies have already started purveyance; the rest will start purveying next week. According to Sergo Karapetyan, measures are undertaken to purvey the entire harvest.

2016 preliminary draft budget was discussed with the governors during the consultation. The governors introduced different proposals over it.
