Yura Movsisyan’s injury is not a serious one

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. The injury, Armenia national team and FC Spartak footballer Yura Movsisyan sustained, is not a serious one.
“Movsisiyan’ sustained partial thigh muscle injury, but his medical treatment has already begun and it’s possible that he will participate in the match of Russian Premier League next tour against FC Kuban.”, As “Armenpress” informs, the club made such an announcement.
In the 8th tour of Russian Premier League FC Spartak defeated FC Rostov with a minimum score. Yura Movsisyan also took part in the match but was substituted in the 61st minute. According to FC Spartak head coach, the Armenian forward was substituted due to injury.

Movsisyan originally stated that his goal was to gain American citizenship and join theUnited States national team.However, on 9 August 2010, he joined theArmenia national teamand made his debut in a friendly againstIranon 11 August 2010. He was one of the most prolific strikers in the UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying campaign, netting in 4 goals and assisting in 5 others.
