President of National Assembly holds farewell meeting with Ukrainian Ambassador

YEREVAN, AUGUST 25, ARMENPRESS. President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Galust Sahakyan, received Ivan Kukhta, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary ofUkraineto Armenia, who visited the parliament on the completion of his diplomatic mission. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Public Relations and Media Department of the National Assembly, Galust Sahakyan, highly assessed Ivan Kukhta’s diplomatic mission in Armenia, thanked for strengthening Armenian-Ukrainian relations and for productive cooperation.
NA President highlighted the cooperation of the parliaments of the two countriesand the productive work of the parliamentary Friendship Groups. Galust Sahakyan hoped that Ukraine will manage to solve the problems facing it and reestablish peace in the country. The head of the parliament wished Ivan Kukhta success in his future career.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Armenia, Ivan Kukhta, expressed his gratitude to the parliament and its head for cooperation and constant support to the initiatives of the Embassy. Ivan Kukhta mentioned that mutual official visits and effective communication took place between the two parliaments during his tenure. Referring to the Armenian community in Ukraine, the Ambassador emphasized the historical similarities of the two nations and highlighted the prospects of upcoming cooperation.
