Gyumri and Tsaghkadzor to compete in “Contest of Youth Capital 2016 of Armenia”

YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, 2015. The Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan suggests joining “Contest of Youth Capital 2016 of the Republic of Armenia” voting for Gyumri town.

Armenpress reports, referring to the Facebook page of Education Minister: “Contest of Youth Capital 2016 of the Republic of Armenia” has been announced and the candidates are Gyumri and Tsaghkadzor. Though I like both Gyumri and Tsaghkadzor but taking into account that Tsaghkadzor already hosts a number of traditional sports and youth events, I am going to vote for our Gyumri and I call everybody to do the same. Send SMS from your cell phones to number 2500 with the word EMG. Let’s support Gyumri which gave many renowned sons to the Armenian nation in being named the youth capital 2016.”

The aim of “Contest of Youth Capital 2016 of the Republic of Armenia” is to stimulate the proportional development of Armenian regions, cooperative and fair relationships between towns both on republican, local and international levels, encourage city authorities in developing a modern and efficient model for youth policy implementation on local level, as well as contribute to the development of youth organizations and infrastructures.
