YEREVAN, AUGUST 12, ARMENPRESS. On August 11 and in the night of August 12, the rival continued violating intensively the ceasefire regime on the entire line of contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing armies, using weapons of different calibers. The Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed Armenpress that theAzerbaijani Armed Forces, apart from using large-caliber weapons,fired 154 shells from 60 and 82 mm mortars. During the mentioned period theAzerbaijani Armed Forcesviolated the ceasefire regime for more than 170 times firing 2600 shots towards the Armenian frontiers.
The Nagorno-KarabakhRepublic DefenseArmy frontiers are in control of the situation and successfully carried out counterattacks silencing the rival’s activeness.
