Rival keeps violating ceasefire regime on weekend: Karabakh Defense Ministry

YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, ARMENPRESS. The rival has intensively violated the ceasefire regime in the line of contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing armies on the weekend firing from different caliber weapons.

Armenpress was informed by the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Minsitry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic that the Azerbaijani army fired 165 shells towards the Armenian frontier troops from 60 and 82 mm mortars. Overall during this period the rival violated the ceasefire regime for 400 times firing 7500 shots.

The rival’s activeness was subdued due to counterattacks made by Karabakh DefenseArmy frontiers.
