BUENOS AIRES, AUGUST 7, ARMENPRESS. Forum, entitled “Memory, truth, justice and elimination of consequences”, devoted to the Armenian Genocide was held in Argentina, attended by the historians, lawyers, human rights defenders, judges and journalists, popular in Argentina.
Armenpress reports, citing PrensaArmenia.com.ar that the famous judge in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights Raúl Zaffaroni, touching upon the Armenian Genocide, stated that genocide is beyond all laws and should be punished by the law. “It is impossible to permit a criminal to escape justice. Condemnation is the only option to restore justice and prevent recurrence of genocides”, - said Zaffaroni.
The philosopher José Pablo Feinmann stressed in his turn that the fight of the Armenians for the Armenian Genocide does not contain pain and suffering. “They want justice. Justice and punishment of the criminals”, - said the philosopher, adding that the Armenian Genocide has become Argentina’s issue due to the Argentinean Armenians.
