YEREVAN, AUGUST 5, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) representative in Armenia Manja Henriette Ahrens who is wrapping up her mission in our country.
Armenpress was informed from the Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of Armenia that the Prime Minister highly appreciated Mrs. Ahrens’s activities thanking her for effective cooperation.
PM Abrahamyan said that advocating children’s rights, improving their health and living conditions are in the Government’s spotlight and consistent steps will be taken aimed at their realization.
Manja Henriette Ahrens thanked Hovik Abrahayman for his constant support in various project implementations. She expressed her confidence that UNICEF will continue the successful realization of various social programs in our country, including the involvement of people with disabilities in various social projects, protection of children rights etc.
For the effective cooperation PM Abrahamyan awarded a nominal watch to Henriette Ahrens.
