First futsal match of 6th pan-Armenian summer games held in Gyumri

GYUMRI, AUGUST 3, ARMENPRESS. The first futsal match of the 6th pan-Armenian summer games was held at the Aram Sargsyan complex sports school of Gyumri Municipality on August 3. Australian “Sidney” and Argentine “La Plata” teams were competing. Before the championship would start the Mayor of Gyumri Samvel Balasanyan greeted the guests. The Mayor first congratulated everyone on the occasion of the pan-Armenian games and then highlighted the importance of holding the football and futsal championships in Gyumri. “This is our first experience and we will have more teams during the next pan-Armenian games who will compete in our city in different sports”, Mayor Samvel Balasanyan mentioned in his speech.

The Sidney team won by 11:1. The Lebanese “Antelias” team was defeated by the Russian “Taganrok” by 2:6.
