6th Pan-Armenian Games – officially closed

YEREVAN, AUGUST 13, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan declared the official closing of the 6th Pan-Armenian Games on August 13.

"I cordially congratulate everyone on organizing and hosting the 6th Pan-Armenian Summer Games at a high level. Capital Yerevan has become a gathering place for all Armenians and Armenian athletes during the last 11 days. You had a possibility of establishing new contacts and acquiring new friends. The most important achievement of the Pan-Armenian Games is bringing together the sons of our nation in our homeland.” Armenpress reports, PM told the attendees. According to Hovik Abrahamyan there are no winners and losers in these games, all have won as the Pan-Armenain Games are an evidence for unity.

Theceremony was also attended by the Minister of Sport and Youth Affairsof the Republic of Armenia, Gabriel Ghazaryan, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and WBO Champion Arthur Abraham.
