Erdoğan - on possibility of special parliamentary elections

YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of Turkey, announced that the possibility of forming a coalition decreases day by day and special parliamentary elections in Turkey are not excluded.

Armenpress reports the aforementioned citing “Anadolu” Agency.

Yalçın Akdoğan, the Turkish Deputy Prime Minister, had previously announced that the Republican People's Party is much closer to forming a coalition with the leading Justice and Development Party than any other political party in Turkey.

The Prime Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoğlu, said 2 days ago that the Nationalist Movement Party turned down the leading Justice and Development Party’s offer on forming a coalition and that they do not wish to form a coalition with the Kurdish People's Democratic Party.

Despite the discrepancies, the negotiations on forming a coalition between Justice and Development Party - Republican People's Party are still in progress.
