EEU interested in idea of restoring Silk Road

YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS: The Eurasian Economic Union is interested in the idea of restoring the great Silk Road: the member states of the Union are actively discussing this issue, trying to understand the forthcoming prospects. During the talk with the journalists in Yerevan, the Minister of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission Sergei Sidorsky stated that the issue will be also widely discussed with the representatives of the business sector of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union in the nearest future.

“We will hold a forum with the representatives of the business sector in Vladivostok in September, entitled “The Eurasian Economic Union and the Silk Road: The future and prospects”. And we invite all to take part in the discussions”, -the Minister of Industry and Agriculture of the Eurasian Economic Commission Sergei Sidorsky stated, Armenpress reports.
