Government ready to pay entire debt to Nairit employees by late July

YEREVAN, JULY 16, ARMENPRESS: At the launch of the session of the Government, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan tried to understand why the employees of Nairit Plant are still unsatisfied with the Government, if the Executive Body has fulfilled the given promise.

The Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia Yervand Zakharyan stated that an agreement was reached to pay the debt of the Nairit employees by July 15 2015, which makes about 5 billion 310 million drams.

“Today we have the opportunity to pay the debt. Though some employees are still concerned, as they think that their salaries had been calculated incorrectly. We are carrying out works in that direction”, -said the Minister, adding that the issue will be settled within few days, Armenpress reports.
