NKR Defense Ministry responded to threats of Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister

YEREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS. Adhering to its destructive position and continuing the violation of the ceasefire regime along the entire contact line between Karabakh-Azerbaijan opposing armies, the Azerbaijani side delivered another misinformation on July 14. Particularly, the Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, accusing the Armenian side for firing into civilian areas, announced that the territories unreachable for small arms of various calibers will be under heavy weapons fire.

As reports “Armenpress”, the NKR Defense Ministry informs that the Armenian side never initiates violation of the ceasefire regime. To prove this Karabakh expresses its readiness to conduct an investigation at the scene and find out the reality with the participation of international observers. As refers to the statement of the Defense Minister of Azerbaijan about firing the Armenian settlements and military facilities from heavy weapons, the Artsakh Armed Forces Command assures that in case of such developments the response will be asymmetric and full of irreversible causalities.

At the same time, the NKR Defense Ministry informs that the entire responsibility for the tense situation on the front line will lie on the Azerbaijani side.
