News on Leyla Aliyeva’s candidacy in elections to the Milli Majlis denied

YEREVAN, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS. The “Heydar Aliyev Foundation” has denied the news that Leyla Aliyeva will be nominated a candidate from the ruling Yeni Azerbaycan Party (YAP) for the upcoming November elections to the Milli Majlis. As Armenpress informs, the aforementioned was reported by Haqqin.az.

It was mentioned in the official statement of the foundation that though Aliyeva leads a very active socio-political life, the information that she will be nominated a candidate for the parliamentary elections is groundless.

Earlier it was published in modern.az that Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling party - Siyavush Novruzov - said that party members expressed their desire to nominate Leyla Aliyeva as YAP candidate for the upcoming parliamentary elections unanimously.
