There are no detainees from Baghramyan Avenue: Police evaluates situation to be calm

YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS: There are not any detained citizens from the Baghramyan Avenue by the police. All the citizens, who were detained during the previous days from the protest rallies, held against the rise of the electricity tariff, have been released. The Deputy Head of the Police of Yerevan Valery Osipyan told the journalists about it, informing that the Police evaluates the current situation on the Baghramyan Avenue to be calm.
“Both of the sides are quiet. The citizens do not allow illegal actions and the police will not try to make drastic actions”, - stated Osipyan, Armenpress reports.
