Mayors of 12 German cities visit Tsitsernakaberd Memorial

YEREVAN, JUNE 19, ARMENPRESS:By the initiative of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia to the Germany’s State of Hesse Brian Steven Fera, the football team of the mayors of 12 cities of the Federal Republic of Germany, headed by Fera, arrived in Yerevan to hold a friendly match with the Yerevan Municipality team.

The press service of the Yerevan Municipality informed Armenpress that accompanied by the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan David Ohanyan, the mayors visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial to pay tribute to 1,5 million holy martyrs of the Armenian Genocide.

The guests laid flowers at the Eternal Fire and visited the Armenian Genocide Museum Institute, where they got acquainted with the documentary screening. In the end the guests left a note in the Book of Honorable Guests.
