10 trees in Aleppo to be named after Armenian victims

YEREVAN, JUNE 11, ARMENPRESS. Tree planting will be held in the Christian region of Aleppo, during which 10 out of the 30 trees to be planted will be named after the Armenian victims. 10 of the trees will be named after 10 Christian victims, which the rest will bear the names of 10 Muslim victims. The Spokesman of the Armenian National Prelacy of the Beroea Diocese Jirair Reisian stated this in a conversation with “Armenpress”.

Among other things, the Spokesman of the Armenian National Prelacy of the Beroea Diocese Jirair Reisian noted that the event will be held on June 12. The tree-planting will be held under the auspices of Syria’s Ministry of Environment Affairs. The ethnic-Armenian Minister of State for Environment Affairs Dr. Nazira Farah Sarkis will also be present at the ceremony.
