YEREVAN, JUNE 9, ARMENPRESS. The situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and the Karabakh-Azerbaijani line of contact is calm and controllable. The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan stated this at the course of the briefing with the journalists held at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on June 9.
As reports “Armenpress”, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan underscored: “The situation is totally under the control of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh Republic, so don’t bother about this.”
Among other things, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan reflected on the fact that the rival fired in the direction of the houses of Baghanis community in Armenia’s Tavush province and emphasized that such incidents make us to control the situation more consistently, make cool decisions and be ready for any development.
In addition, the Minister noted that the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia do their best to maintain the ceasefire regime.
