Border guards find drugs in Tehran-Yerevan bus

YEREVAN, JUNE 1, ARMENPRESS: In the result of the examination of the Tehran-Yerevan bus at Agarak checkpoint in Syunik Marz of Armenia, on the Armenian-Iranian border, the border guards found a package, containing 10 grams of dark brown substance. The press service of the Border Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the substance, found on May 31 by the Russian border guards, is supposedly opium.

The officers of the Meghri Customs Department for fight against smuggling are clarifying the circumstances of the crime.
