Republic Day celebrated with military parade in Gyumri

GYUMRI, 28 MAY, ARMENPRESS. Gyumri celebrated Republic Day. The day turned into a real celebration at the initiative of Gyumri Municipality and the garrison stationed in Gyumri. After the military parade and demonstrative performances at “Vardanants” Square, the gathered witnessed performances by the choir and dance ensemble that are under the subordination of Gyumri Municipality.

In an interview with “Armenpress”, Deputy Mayor of Gyumri Ruben Sanoyan attached importance to the celebration and stated that the First Republic was established in a difficult period for the Armenian people and symbolizes the spirit of struggle and consolidation of the Armenians.
