Opening ceremony of Memorial of Armenian Genocide victims held in Aleppo

YEREVAN, 13 MAY, ARMENPRESS. Headed by the three leaders of the Armenian communities, the opening ceremony of a Memorial and a celebration titled "The Call of the Land" held in Aleppo, which were dedicated to the Armenian Genocide victims.

"Armenpress" was informed by the official website of the Central Body of the 100th anniversary Armenian Genocide in Syria. The unveiling ceremony took place nearby AGBU III. Gulbenkian Center, which was attended by the Primate of the Catholic community His Grace Archbishop Bedros Miriatian, Armenia's Consul General to Aleppo Tigran Gevorgyan, the representatives of Aleppo’s associations and organizations.

The Primate of the Catholic community blessed the Memorial, on which was inscribed "I remember and demand". Then the celebration titled "The Call of the Land" was launched. The attendees honored the memory of the victims standing.
