Peruvian citizens try to transport drugs to Armenia

YEREVAN, MAY 11, ARMENPRESS. The citizens of the Republic of Peru Alexander Cordova and Maria Alvarado have been charged with the 2nd part of the article 215 and second point of the third part of article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. As reports “Armenpress”, Data Lex Judiciary Portal stated about this.

The citizens of the Republic of Peru Alexander Cordova and Maria Alvarado took 2 kg 780 grams of cocaine from an unidentified person in the Republic of Peru. They tried to take the cocaine to Armenia to give it to an unidentified person. But the crime has been discovered at Zvartnots airport.

The accused can be sentenced to 4-15 years of imprisonment according to the 2nd part of the article 215 and second point of the third part of article 266 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia with or without the confiscation of property.
