May 9-dedicated rapid chess tournament ends with Aronian’s victory

YEREVAN, MAY 11, ARMENPRESS: The rapid chess tournament, dedicated to the May 9, was held at the Central Chess House after Tigran Petrosyan. The Armenian grand master Levon Aronian scored 7 points out of 7 possible and took the first prize among 169 participants at the open, held today in Yerevan, Armenia.

Armenpress reports that the Armenian Chess Federation informed about it.

Among the participants there were 15 chess players with international titles including five grandmasters.
