Student trivia devoted to Armenian Genocide held in Damascus

YEREVAN, 6 MAY, ARMENPRESS. A student trivia devoted to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide was held at Aminyan Armenian Catholic Hall of Damascus, as posted on the official website of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Committee of Syria, according to “Armenpress”. The main topic was the Armenian Genocide, and a committee comprised of Armenian language teachers of Armenian schools of Damascus was created.

The thirty schoolchildren were divided into five groups. At the end, the winning group was announced, and all the participants received gifts symbolizing the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide that were made by the youth committee for the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. The members of the winning group received more gifts, namely copies of the Arabic book about the Armenian Genocide by Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Syria Arshak Poladyan.
