Japanese pianist Takahiro Akiba gives concert in Yerevan

YEREVAN, 4 MAY, ARMENPRESS. On May 4, Japanese pianist Takahiro Akiba gave a concert called “In the Land of Komitas” at Komitas Chamber Music Hall on the sidelines of the events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide. The concert was held with the support of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia and included performances by Arax Mansourian.

As the Department of Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia reports to “Armenpress”, among those attending the concert were First Lady of the Republic of Armenia Rita Sargsyan, the wife of Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Janna Sahakyan, acting Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Armenia Kenchiro Sasame, Deputy Minister of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Srapionyan, as well as artists, intellectuals and guests.
