Damascus-Armenians organized march on the occasion of the Armenian Genocide Centennial

YEREVAN, 30 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. The youth committee of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Committee of Damascus held a march with candles on the occasion of the Armenian Genocide Centennial, as reported on the official website of the Armenian Genocide Centennial Central Committee of Syria, according to “Armenpress”. Several Armenians ignored the war in Syria and participated in the march under the leadership of Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Damascus, Father, Bishop Aramsh Nalbandian, clergymen and Armenia’s Ambassador to Syria Arshak Poladyan. The participants started marching from Kassa District and reached the new Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide Square.

At the end, His Holiness read in Arabic the Pan-Armenian Declaration adopted on the occasion of the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide and addressed to all nations of the world.
