Armenian Genocide centenary commemoration held in Brazil

YEREVAN, APRIL 30, ARMENPRESS: In the framework of the events, devoted to the Armenian Genocide centennial, a lecture was conducted in São Paulo University of Brazil, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Genocide, held with screening of photos and short films. The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that a similar lecture was conducted also in the Federal University of São Paulo.

On April 19 the most authoritative daily, having the biggest circulation, Estado de São Paulo, published an interview with the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Brazil Ashot Galoyan, presenting the history of the Armenian Genocide, the denial policy of Turkey, as well as the events on the commemoration of the centenary of the Armenian Genocide in the country.
