BUENOS AIRES, APRIL 30, ARMENPRESS: A concert, devoted to the centennial of the Armenian Genocide, was held in the biggest stadium of Argentina, Luna Park, attended by the representatives of different communities and high ranking officials.
Armenpress reports, citingPrensaArmenia.com.arthat before the launch of the concert, the former Justice Minister of Argentina Levon Arslanyan delivered an extensive speech. The event was attended by the Ambassador of Armenia to Argentina Aleksan Harutyunyan and MP Julián Domínguez.
The works of the Armenian and Argentinean composers sounded at the event. The concert ended with the songs of Charles Aznavour.
By the launch of the concert, the Argentinean Armenian community organized a traditional protest procession to the Turkish Embassy and demanded to face the own history. This time 10000 people joined the protest campaign.
