MP highlights adoption of genocide condemning statement by Armenia’s Parliament

YEREVAN, APRIL 20, ARMENPRESS: The Secretary of the Prosperous Armenia Party faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Vahe Enfiajyan is certain that in the special session, the Parliament will unanimously adopt the Armenian Genocide centenary statement on April 21. On April 20 Enfiajyan told the journalists that the adoption of this statement is quite important, as it calls on the parliaments of different countries and international organizations to recognize and condemn the Armenian Genocide.

“We consider this statement to be very important and I think that it would have been a mistake by the Parliament not to initiate this statement. I am sure that we willunanimously adopt it on April 21, showing our unity in this issue”,- emphasized Enfiajyan, Armenpress reports.
